Implementing AI in an organisation requires more than technology – it demands clear governance, risk management, and accountability. How can organisations ensure that their AI systems remain under control, align with business objectives, and comply with applicable requirements?
The internationally recognised ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer certification training provides practical knowledge to plan, implement, manage, and continually improve an Artificial Intelligence Management System (AIMS). Participants will learn how to address AI-related risks, establish governance and control processes, and prepare their organisation for ISO/IEC 42001 certification audits.
It is an intensive 32 academic-hour course designed for IT and development managers, AI project managers, risk managers, quality and compliance professionals, and others responsible for AI implementation and regulatory compliance.
Course target
- The training focuses on the practical application of AI and the practical aspects of implementing an AIMS, including essay-type exercises and multiple-choice tests, some of which are based on specific scenarios.
- Participants are encouraged to collaborate and engage in meaningful discussions while completing tests and practical exercises.
- The test format is aligned with the certification examination, ensuring that you have the opportunity to adequately prepare for the certification exam.
At Course Completion you will be able to
- Explain the fundamental concepts and principles of an AIMS based on ISO/IEC 42001.
- Interpret the ISO/IEC 42001 requirements for an AIMS from an implementer’s perspective.
- Initiate and plan the implementation of an AIMS based on ISO/IEC 42001, using the PECB IMS2 methodology and other best practices.
- Support the organization in ensuring the operation, maintenance, and continual improvement of an AIMS based on ISO/IEC 42001.
- Prepare the organization for a third-party certification audit.
Prerequisites: General knowledge of AIMS and ISO/IEC 42001 is required.
The training is delivered in English. Training materials and practical work examples prepared by BDA. The training includes the internationally recognised PECB certification exam in the course fee.
